A few weeks ago I together with my co-photographer Andreas Samuelsson worked on a two-day shoot at Vault Hotel in Helsingborg, Sweden. The project is to create wall art for the hotel shot at the hotel. The job involves 50 pictures with a variety of models, looks and locations. Needless to say this was a big project. I not only worked on it with coordination, creative direction, getting parts of the warderobe, props and accessories.
We worked with 7 models, 2 makeup artists, 2 hairstylists, 1 assistant, 1 stylist, a fairly big team. Out of the over 10,000 pictures we walked away with we narrowed it down to about 400 that the hotel now gets to choose their 50 from. We photographed 12 hours per day and come Monday we were just a tad tired. My fingers were so stiff from clenching the camera all weekend. Great fun and got some great shots. Lots of learnings in these types of projects that I will probably share in a later post along with some of the finished work. In the meantime here are some fun behind the scenes shots.
